The Datavideo TC-200 & CG-200 HD/SD Character Generator Kit combines the TC-200 Overlay Box with the CG-200 CG software into an on-screen graphics and titling solution that requires minimal PC processing power. Using a standard laptop, you can create and deliver striking on-screen graphics and titles in real-time, ideal for mobile broadcasting and live video presentations. All your laptop requires, beyond common standard specs, is an HDMI input.
The TC-200 offers an SDI input supporting Overlay mode and two SDI outputs supporting DSK (down-stream keyer) Fill and Key signals, allowing you to forego the use of an SDI adapter installed into your computer, and in turn allowing you to use a laptop on-the-go. This kit supports vision mixers with and without a DSK. In cases without a DSK, the TC-200 Overlay Box's Title Overlay mode substitutes for the lack of it.
The TC-200 works on 7-15V of operating voltage. It supports 7.2V and 14.4V DV batteries using an optional Datavideo MB-4 Battery Adapter (required).

DSK Mode
The TC-200 and CG-200 can be used with a vision mixer equipped with a DSK (down-stream keyer). In such a setup, they can be set up as the key source or fill source. Any vision mixer with a DSK is supported, such as the Datavideo SE-2800 and SE-3000.
Overlay Mode
When no DSK is being used, the Title Overlay mode substitutes for the lack of it. Using the TC-200 Overlay Box, the HDMI output from a laptop is embedded with the SDI output from a camcorder, VTR, or vision mixer.

This tool allows you to edit color, size, transparency, board, location, and alignment.

Datavideo CKL-300 Dual Colour Chromakey System
Datavideo CKL-300 is a combination of a dual colour (Green & Blue) LED ring and a unique 3 x retro-reflective back drop cloth, which is embedded with tiny glass beads.
Each retro-reflective cloth is 0.9 (w) x 2.5 metre (h) which velcros together and is great for expanding to larger Chromakey areas as your studio/projects grow.
The CKL-300 light ring can output either green or blue, which makes it ideal for tailoring your projects subject to ensure there are no colour clashes.
The LED light ring is mounted on the lens of the camera using the included 72mm or 82mm adapter and projects a highly directional green or blue light on the back drop cloth. Thanks to the cloths embedded glass beads, light is then reflected back to the camera creating a perfect green or blue background, providing you with excellent keying results with very little effort. The 3 x 0.9m (w) x 2.5m (h) retro-reflective back drop with Velcro on the left and right hand side allowing users to use either one cloth on its own, or join them together to form a larger background.
Additional optional cloths, for extended spread, are available. The unique backdrop will even allow you to get away with having the odd crease line, and the whole system is extremely quick to setup.

Tapeless, file based video acquisition has many advantages over traditional tape. The Datavideo DN-60 is powered by four traditional or rechargeable AA batteries, a set of batteries provide approximately two hours continuous recording, depending on the type of battery used. Datavideo have also included an external power supply for when you are near a power outlet.
The DN-60 can easily be set up for FAT32 or NTFS file systems; as well as DV PAL, DV NTSC, DVC Pro 25, DVC Pro 50 and HDV (1280x720p or 1440x1080i) also. The DN 60 connects directly to your existing DV, HDV camcorder or digital IEEE-1394 devise via a single FireWire cable. Use the DN-60’s “sync to tape” feature which automatically powers the recorder on, and synchronises record start/stop with your camera. * The unit can also be set up to record standard definition PAL / NTSC Time Lapse sequences at a variety of intervals, or buffer live video - press record within 8 seconds of an event and you can be confident that you have recorded that must have shot.

Datavideo’s DN-600 is a file-based hard drive video recorder which allows recordings to be saved to a convenient, removable hard drive (hard drive required, additional carriers are available). As the USB port provides power to the drive, it’s perfect for use with laptops in the field.
Once the recording is completed, simply eject the hard drive enclosure and use USB 2.0 or SATA to connect to a PC or MAC based NLE system. Editors can work directly from the removable drive, or copy video files to the NLE’s video drives.
